Phantom Blade Zero: How to Find The Banyan's Heart and Locations

If you are looking to unlock critical skills like Fluid Form Level 2, Quick Remedy, or Opening Strike in Phantom Blade Zero, you need to get your hands on The Banyan’s Heart. These items are tied to specific trial realms that test your combat prowess, and missing them can leave your character build feeling incomplete.

Locating Your First Banyan’s Heart

You can obtain your first Banyan’s Heart toward the end of the Crimson Forest region. It is intentionally placed so that it is nearly impossible to miss. Once you activate the Parting Mists bell, drop down and head directly toward the island featuring a large, prominent tree. Interacting with this tree will transport you into the trial realm.

The Trial: You must survive three waves of enemies.
The Boss: The trial culminates in a fight against Jing Ye, the bleed bandit boss.
Checkpointing: If you fall in battle, you can use a nearby bell to retry, and progress is saved between stages of the trial.

Securing your first heart triggers The Heart of the Banyan quest, which tasks you with hunting down four additional locations across the game world:

Pangzhen: Locate the second tree during the second chapter, situated near the Lion Dance Hall in the northwest.
Mandate Encampment: The third tree is tucked away near the start of this region.
Meigu Lake: Look for the fourth tree on a small island within the lake.
Mountain of Imprisonment: The final tree is found directly on the main path through the region.
