Mammoth Tank vs Priest: The Final Showdown for the Greatest RTS Unit of All Time

The search for the best RTS unit of all time has reached its thrilling conclusion. After weeks of debates, bracket upsets, and community voting, we have arrived at the grand final of our tournament. Only two legends remain standing: the Soviet-engineered Mammoth Tank and the infamous, wololo-ing Priest. It is time for you to decide which of these iconic units deserves to take home the crown.

The Road to the Final

Our month-long journey began with sixteen legendary units, each representing the pinnacle of real-time strategy gaming. Along the way, we witnessed shocking eliminations and heartfelt departures. Even my own personal favorites, like the Homeworld 2 Pride of Hiigara, ultimately fell to the relentless force of the Mammoth Tank, which secured its spot in the final with a massive 60% of the vote.

Meanwhile, the bracket saw its share of controversy. The Priest managed an upset victory over the Super Star Destroyer, garnering 70% of the vote in a result that still has many of us scratching our heads. Regardless of personal opinions, the community has spoken, and these two titans now face off for the ultimate title.

Mammoth Tank vs Priest: A Clash of Icons

This final matchup presents a fascinating contrast in strategy and nostalgia. Choosing the best RTS unit is rarely about raw stats; it is about the impact these units have on our collective gaming memory.

• Mammoth Tank (Command & Conquer: Red Alert): An unstoppable symbol of Soviet firepower, this dual-barreled behemoth is defined by its sheer durability and iconic presence on the battlefield.
• Priest (Age of Empires): Famous for its conversion capabilities, the Priest represents the tactical unpredictability that makes RTS games so addictive—and occasionally infuriating.

How to Cast Your Vote

The fate of the title lies entirely in your hands. We are opening the final round of voting to determine which unit will be enshrined as the greatest in the history of the genre. You have until the end of Wednesday (BST) to make your voice heard.

The final battle is set: will you back the implacable steel of the Soviet war machine, or the divine intervention of the battlefield cleric?

Head to the voting portal now and ensure your champion receives the recognition it deserves. We will announce the winner of the greatest RTS unit tournament right here next week!
