The wait for the latest expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is almost over, as the VisionQuest release schedule has officially been confirmed. Paul Bettany is set to reprise his iconic role as Vision, taking fans on a deep dive into the synthezoid’s complicated identity and past. The series makes its grand debut on Disney+ with a double-episode premiere on October 14, 2026.
The Official VisionQuest Release Schedule
Marvel is shaking things up by moving away from the traditional weekly drop, opting instead for a mixed release pattern that accelerates the story early on. Here is how you can tune in:
- Episodes 1 & 2: October 14
- Episodes 3 & 4: October 21
- Episodes 5 & 6: October 28
- Episode 7: November 4
- Episode 8: November 11
By clustering the early episodes, Marvel seems intent on hooking viewers quickly before shifting into a slower, more deliberate pace for the final two chapters of this eight-episode run.
What to Watch Before VisionQuest
Because Vision’s history in the MCU is tied to some of the franchise’s most pivotal moments, catching up is essential to understanding the stakes. The return of James Spader as the voice of Ultron makes revisiting these classics mandatory for any dedicated fan:
- Avengers: Age of Ultron: The origin of both Vision and his creator-turned-rival, Ultron.
- Captain America: Civil War: A look at Vision’s internal struggle and his early days with the Avengers.
- Avengers: Infinity War: Witnessing the tragic moment Thanos removes the Mind Stone.
- WandaVision: The catalyst for the emotional journey that leads us directly into this new limited series.
Marvel has confirmed that this series will specifically explore the fallout of Vision’s complex history and his ongoing search for self-discovery.
With an explosive villain returning and the foundation of his existence being questioned, VisionQuest is shaping up to be a critical chapter in the post-Infinity Saga MCU. Ensure you have your Disney+ subscription active by October 14 to catch the premiere and avoid spoilers.
