Locating Intricate Key Moulds in the Deep North
Your search for the Intricate Key begins within the snowy villages scattered across the Deep North biome. Keep your eyes peeled for the largest multi-story building in these settlements. Once inside, look for a large hole in the floor that leads to hidden underground tunnels. These tunnels are dangerous, so prepare for intense combat before descending.
- Search the tunnels for Frostcores: these glowing blue items are usually found hanging overhead.
- Clear out wooden debris: your target items, the Intricate Key moulds, are often hidden beneath rubble.
- Collect three moulds: since each mould is a one-time use item, you must find at least three to progress through the biome’s major challenges.
Mastering the Frost Foundry and Frigid Kiln
Finding the moulds is only the first half of the battle. To actually forge your keys, you must master the new regional crafting structures. Touching your first Frostcore unlocks the recipe for the Frost Foundry, while mining ice in the Deep North reveals the secrets of the Frigid Kiln.
Crafting Requirements:
- Frost Foundry: 10 Frostcore, 15 iron, and 20 stone.
